Trump and Giuliani- why nothing will happen to them

Recent news has showed that Trump and Giuliani have committed yet another alleged crime. This time, it’s stated that Giuliani had a Trump associate pressure Ukraine for dirt on Joe Biden for the upcoming 2020 Presidential election. 

But despite this, even if it is true, it’s likely that nothing will happen to Trump or Giuliani.

Why will Trump and Giuliani be safe?

We have seen this time and time again, Trump breaks the law, the law does nothing to Trump. Why should this time, when Trump’s lawyer, has committed a crime, be punished? 

Whilst his opponents call for an impeachment, for the four hundredth time in Trump’s presidency, Trump jeers them. Trump and Giuliani know that nothing will come from it anyway. 

When Trump broke the law by giving secrets to Russia, it was brushed under the rug. When Trump made the alleged comment to his billionaire friends “I’ve just made you a whole lot richer!” The media shrugged this off in a news cycle. When Trump allegedly colluded with Russia, it was big, and nothing came of it. When Trump fired FBI director James Comey, for looking into the alleged collusion, it was wiped out in less than a week! 

Trump knows that the House won’t impeach him, no matter what he does, or how terrible it is at the time. Trump has cleverly disguised how the alleged crimes were done, they were done as to not violate federal criminal law. 

Even with the current Ukrainian problem, it’s alleged that Trump gave aid to Ukraine under the guise that Ukraine’s President would give dirt on the Biden family. It’s generally considered that if this is true, it is a misuse of power to enfranchise himself- an impeachable offence. 

How can we get rid of Trump?

I like Trump, I think he’s a great businessman, but impeachment will be next-to impossible. 

There’s is one clear way to get Trump and Giuliani out of power: they lose the election. However there are two main issues with that sentiment: 

#1 Socialism in the Democrat party, this has been covered extensively on our site, this is not the best situation for the economy. The world economy is teetering on a knife’s edge at the moment, and any more pressure will tip it over the edge. Either Brexit or a Presidential election will certainly be that pressure to tip it over the edge. And with a Socialist president in power, the affects of this will be staggering. 

#2 Maybe it’s not long enough, the election is scheduled to be held in November 2020. That is still a little less than a year away, Trump and Giuliani can still do untold damage to the US in that time. 

We spoke with one of our staff writers who lives in the US, and another who lives in the Ukraine about this issue. 

Our Ukrainian staff writer said:

If Trump wants to give us aid that we need, just for some information on his opponent, we do it! Nothing came of it when he did it with the Russians on Mrs. Clinton, so why would this be different for us? 

We showed this excerpt to our American staff writer, who replied: 

But what he is doing is illegal! I understand you need aid, and that aid should be provided to you by the international community. However, selling political dirt on another nation’s presidential candidate is simply wrong. It’s tantamount to Ukraine meddling in US politics!

When we asked both of them how they would sort this issue out, our Ukrainian staff writer responded:

Ukraine needs aid, America, Britain, Canada and the West need to go to the UN to get us aid. That means that Trump has no leverage over our President, and Ukraine gets what it so desperately needs.

Our (pro-Trump) staff writer said regarding the matter:

The so called ‘dirt’ is given to the American, British, French and German media. Trump petitions the UN to get aid for the Ukraine, which will almost certainly happen due to the US’ political clout. This means that both Trump and Ukraine get what they want. 

But Trump and Giuliani are criminals!

I hear what you are saying, Trump and Giuliani are the corrupt people in this story. They may have fabricated the story as to Joe Biden and his son being corrupt. But they are the ones who are corrupt themselves!

I personally do not believe that Trump and Giuliani had dirt fabricated on Joe Biden. Even if it turned out that this dirt had been fabricated, it will be yesterday’s news and irrelevant during the election cycle. 

However, I do find it weird how Joe Biden is awfully quiet at the moment, having spoken little on this subject. Surely, if there wasn’t dirt to begin with, he’d be on national television talking about the injustices of Trump and Giuliani, yet nothing.
